Legal Services Program for Employers
The Legal Service Program (LSP) provides free legal services to small employers regarding an Appeal hearing, a Board of Review matter or a tax-related matter that can go on appeal to the Director.
Typically, the decisions and orders that are appealed relate to a claimant's eligibility for unemployment insurance benefits as well as unemployment insurance tax matters.

Normal working hours are from 8:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Program Services Include:
- Up to one hour of free consultation with a LSP attorney regarding your case, and
- If the attorney determines that the you have a valid claim or defense, the LSP attorney will also represent you in an appeal hearing and at the Board of Review.
